Worldwide Designs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Simple Life Check mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

To provide the wellness check-in service, the App collects the following information:

• Your phone number — used to place check-in voice calls to your device.
• Emergency contact names and phone numbers — used to send SMS alerts if you do not respond to a check-in.
• Check-in schedule — the days and time you choose to receive calls.
• Emergency SMS message — optional custom text you provide for inclusion in alert messages.
• Device token — a unique identifier used to deliver incoming-call notifications to your phone.
• User preferences — theme selection and locally stored settings.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, health data, browsing history, or any information unrelated to the check-in service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To place scheduled voice calls to your phone number via Twilio.
• To send SMS messages to your emergency contacts if you do not respond after three call attempts.
• To deliver incoming-call notifications to your device via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
• To remember your schedule and preferences between sessions.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Twilio — processes voice calls and SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio receives your phone number and your emergency contacts' phone numbers only when a call or message is initiated.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — delivers incoming-call notifications to your device. Apple receives your device token but not your phone number or contact information.
• DigitalOcean — hosts the server that manages your schedule and coordinates calls.

These providers process data solely to deliver the services described above and are bound by their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your preferences and contact list are stored locally on your device. Your phone number, emergency contacts, and schedule are also transmitted to our server (hosted on DigitalOcean) so that check-in calls and SMS messages can be delivered even when the App is not open.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted (HTTPS) communication between the App and our server. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained on our server only while you have an active check-in schedule. When you cancel your schedule or delete the App, your data is removed from the server.

To request deletion of all your data, cancel your schedule within the App or contact us at support@simplelifecheck.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• View or edit your emergency contacts and schedule within the App.
• Cancel your schedule to stop all calls and remove your data from our server.
• Delete the App to remove all locally stored data.
• Contact us to request a copy or deletion of your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
